Marcie found me at the local dog park completely out of my depth, anxious and nervous with a dog that felt she needed to defend me. When she told me this would be an easy fix, I must admit I was hesitant to believe her. At this point our dog was so reactive, I could no longer invite anyone to the house due to the excessive barking. Dog walking was a chore, where my dog pulled so much it had injured my arm. Within two hours with Marcie, it was like we had a different dog. I now feel in control and my relationship with my dog has improved so much, I actually feel closer to her now. The excessive barking has stopped and she never pulls the lead - I honestly can’t believe it! Marcie has improved our lives as we’re all so much happier thanks to her support with our dog.

overwhelmed by his reactivity towards other dogs and our world was getting smaller
and smaller, avoiding everything that might trigger him and becoming more frustrated
with the effect this was having on him and us.
After nearly 12 months of trying practically every technique out there and a bevy of
trainers all with different approaches we were no closer to getting on top of this
problem and it felt that our relationship with Rodney was starting to suffer as a result.
Luckily, during yet another evening of trawling through dog reactivity FB posts, we
came across Fabdogs and we just cannot believe the difference after just one
session with Marcie and Joey.
Our goal of going to a café with Rodney was realised at the end of that first meeting
and we are now confidently walking him through the neighbourhood, encountering
other dog walkers and, though he obviously, still desperately wants to interact with
the other dogs, it is all so much better and we no longer find ourselves trying to drag
him in the opposite direction. At home, he is now much calmer than before and we
are all enjoying long, lovely, cuddly evenings on the sofa again.
So a huge thank you to Marcie and Joey. Since just one session with you, Rodney’s
world is getting bigger and bigger and so is ours.

We have travelled near and far and no one has managed to help us to stop Rumour pulling on the lead. Rumour is a strong 12 month old GSD puppy so walks could be very frustrating and not enjoyable but as soon as Marcie took the lead she had Rumour walking by her side and we were left standing there open-mouthed in disbelief. Marcie also gave us guidance on Rumour's reactivity on and off lead when on walks close to home, how to get a better recall and improve impulse control.
I have been out with Rumour putting Marcie's guidance into practice and since our training session we haven't had one reaction from Rumour and have seen a huge improvement all round.
We have been able to build on every positive experience and have progressed so much together. My relationship with Rumour has gone from strength to strength and it has been such a rewarding process.
We go out on a lovely long walk every morning from the house which I never had the confidence to do before - I used to dread walking her but now I look forward to it.
Our pup is growing into a fabulous dog and I'm so grateful to Marcie for that.
We highly recommend booking a training session with Marcie, it was a game changer for us.

Hi Marcie, sorry to contact you at the weekend but we have just returned from what I can only describe as a triumphant walk - still not quite there with my own reactions but, walking at British Camp, 2 out of 3 encounters went brilliantly, with no barking, then having coffee in M H Hotel, at least 5 dogs came in, not a peep, then exited beautifully right past a large dog by a table - bliss !!! I still can't believe the difference Marcie has made to Sid's behaviour. He is 18 months, .I have had him since he was 4 mths rescue .
He was very reactive to other dogs.lunging and barking. I was considering not walking him anywhere near any other dogs ever as it was so difficult and upsetting for us both.

Marcie, has trained me and my 7 year old Lab ...My anxiety about having a reactive dog on a walk, caused me to cross the road, hide behind parked cars, change direction and my 12 year old has avoided dog walks for years.
Marcie explained how my behaviour was feeding My dogs reactivity. He has been thinking that he needs to protect me, and all my actions have encouraged this.

I've just been out with her, met 3 dogs on a 1 hour roadwalk, no reaction at all
she also walked past ( through ) a large group with 12 gun dogs at eastnor on Sunday, loose lead and leadership thoughts from me, she was an angel Sadly they weren't keen to stop and chat so that she could interact. !
Marcie has been so kind and helpful with Seamus who has become reactive over the past 6 months She talked us through all the reasons why Seamus behaves like he does and helped us get his walking on the lead so much better .
She also gave us great advice as to how to behave when we and Seamus meet other dogs She also arranged for us to meet other dogs which was very useful, allowing us to put into practice what she has taught both Seamus and us .

We asked for Marcie’s help with our reactive Rottie, Luna. I was at a point I didn’t want to walk Luna on the lead and wasn’t looking forward to walking anymore and knew I needed help… Marcie assessed Luna’s behaviour and personality thoroughly, and reassured me about why Luna was reactive. We then started lead walks so we could put methods and strategies into place. After just 2 sessions I am feeling more confident in Luna’s behaviour and how to move forwards with her on the lead and off the lead. We are incredibly grateful for Marcie's expertise and guidance as our dog (and family) trainer. We brought our 14-month-old Wheaten Terrier, Coco, to her because Coco was overly exuberant when meeting other dogs and would get excited and pull on every walk. Marcie taught us training techniques that have been transformative. She showed us how to approach other dogs and uncovered Coco's anxiety, teaching us how to take back control. Her no-nonsense, direct, and clear approach has made a world of difference. Coco is now much happier, and our whole family benefits from these positive changes. Thank you, Marcie, for making our walks and understanding of Coco so much better!

Just wanted to update you with Chases’s progress since our 1-2-1 visit with you in March. The confidence you gave us, to trust that he is not an aggressive dog, has allowed us to group walk with other dogs and really start to enjoy going places with our boy. We can’t thank Marcie and Sue enough for helping us understand why Luna was reacting so much and how we could make things better for Luna and ourselves.
Luna’s behavior was slowly becoming worse, lunging and barking while on the lead at other dogs. Off lead she’d chase and bark at other dogs or people out jogging. Then one day she had a go at another dog which really shocked me. I began to wonder if we now had an aggressive dog!
I called Marcie for help. With her knowledge and expertise Marcie gave us a thorough assessment and put our minds at rest that we did not have an aggressive dog. Luna needed more guidance from us and with Marcie’s advice, demonstrations and reassurances, we had a better understanding of how to help Luna and provide her with clear communication.
We followed this up with a training walk with Sue, who gave me more confidence in how to handle different situations which in turn would help Luna become a happier dog.
We are still practicing and learning but thanks to the skills, knowledge, experience, love, care and kindness of Marcie and Sue our bond and engagement with Luna is getting better each day.

I visited Marcie after some occasional incidents of reactivity with my dog. I was worrying so much about why my dog, Mo, was reacting and if his behaviour was going to get worse.
Marcie understood exactly what had been going on and gave me so many tools to help. She assured me that he is not a bad dog, and his reactivity does not come from a place of aggression at all.
After the session with Marcie I feel so much more confident and relaxed out on walks with Mo. As a result reactions have become very rare.

We first had a couple of sessions with impakct training up in Cleethorpes before seeing Marcie as previous distraction based training just wasn't working. We had such a positive response with our rescue pug Luna who would bark and react to people and dogs. Waiting to find somewhere closer to home Marcie has become accredited with impakct. Marcie is great and we can't thank her enough for the training we received. Marcie gave us some very good real world training in a local park to herself in Malvern which was great as she knew most of the dogs and owners allowing us to be relaxed and focus knowing Luna was safe. The training is spot on can't fault it at all and the turn around in Luna is amazing, distraction training just didn't work which we have done in the past. Marcie uses her own technique completely different to distraction which worked from just one session! If you've tried other trainers with no success please visit Marcie! and/or impackt training in Cleethorpes you will be shocked how much of a difference it makes and how quickly it works!

Had a wonderful 1-2-1 session with Marcie yesterday. Our lovely dog has been reactive to other dogs since we got him a year ago. Marcie introduced him to her boy, joey, in a safe and controlled environment and quickly diagnosed his lack of socialisation, frustration and bad manners. Chase really enjoyed his session and loved Joey to bits, even when he told him off a little!! Not only do we now know the issue, we have been provided with the solution and information to get rid of the unwanted behaviour. We are thrilled to say the least. We will be putting in the work and practicing every day to make our lives and more importantly our dog’s life an enjoyable, safe, and fun. If you are wondering if you should book a session with Marcie, then I would recommend that you do.I went to se Marcie a few weeks ago. She helped me understand why my dog was behaving the way he was (and it was the opposite of what I was thinking).Marcie has given me techniques to use to stop the unwanted behaviour and I have started to see a definite improvement. Was my dog perfect immediately? No, because there is a lot of learnt behaviour in both him and me that needs to be undone.However, I am much happier and more confident. My dog is responding really well to me and is making a huge improvement. Marcie is great! Book that session!

We took our lad Seb, a rescue GSD for an aggression assessment with Pam from Impackt Behaviour in Lincolnshire in January this year, where we were introduced to Marcie who was completing her Impackt Behaviour training to become one of the team outside of Lincolnshire. Knowing Marcie was nearer to us, Pamela made sure we met and chatted in case we ever needed more help.
It turned out Seb is lead frustrated with no aggression. He is also very immature mentally for his age. During our stay in Lincolnshire, Seb met other dogs behaving stressed on a lead, barking, lunging and spiralling but off lead once over his initial enthusiasm being curbed by being told off by the therapy dogs , he calmed beautifully respecting boundaries and playing with them. At the weekend dog social session, he loved all the dogs and being part of the pack.
Once back home, lead walks continued in quiet areas and we attended other dog training sessions. Despite this, we felt Seb was slowly becoming more lead frustrated so decided to contact Marcie for advice and an up to date training assessment. At home, we had tried normal collars/leads, harnesses, figure of eight but still had some control issues if Seb saw another dog on a lead.
Early July we met up with Marcie for a one off session along with her gorgeous Doberman Joey who was definitely boss dog. After 30 mins of allowing them to meet on lead through the paddock fencing and a few grumbles from each, Joey & Seb met off lead. Joey put Seb in his place a few times which Seb respected along with Marcie using an using a verbal correction things soon calmed down with Seb happily following Joey trying to get him to play and run around together.
Marcie suggested some other changes and Off home we went, purchases made, walks continued at a calmer pace and we booked again to see Marcie 2 weeks later for two consecutive day training sessions to consolidate what we had learnt.
Day 1 of second session - met up with Marcie & Joey at the paddock. Seb settled quickly after a couple of corrections by Joey for being a bit OTT in his greeting along with verbal correction from us and they got along well. We then headed off to an open air cafe so both dogs could chill, watch the world go by with pupcups to lick whilst we all had a cuppa and a chat. Then it was on to a local nature reserve for some general mooching around and some on lead walking next to Joey.
Day 2 - met up early at the nature reserve where Seb was basically off halti/lead with a long line attached to his collar trailing after him for use in an emergency only. Seb met lots of other dogs of different sizes and behaved respectfully with all of them, he even trotted off with another dog walker until recalled. To end the session there was more on lead walking using his Halti alongside Joey.
Our lad did so well, we are continuing daily walks and are looking for other dog walkers who wouldn't mind us tagging along - not easy where we live but we will keep looking!!!

Successful walk this morning unfortunately not too many doggies to interact with but great walking on the new lead and collar and it only took one session with Marcie to give us some great advice. Very happy and relaxed sausages today!
On Thursday 5th June we had a 1-2-1 session with Marcie from Malvern Fab Dogs with our almost year old black Lab.
From the outset she made us feel at ease and explained everything that we hoped to achieve and how to achieve it. She demonstrated the techniques and how and why they should work, then allowed us to try them, advising the best way to succeed.
Whilst Finn doesn’t have serious issues, he improved a lot in a very short time! We learnt a great deal too, and as we thought, we were the ones that needed the training most, not him! Overall, thoroughly enjoyable, beneficial and cannot recommend Marcie highly enough!

here is my testament finally!
I went to see Marcie after having worrying issues with my boy fighting other intact males. It turns out he wasn't aggressive, it was a matter of myself not clearly advocating for him when dogs invade our space, i now keep him on the lead unless we are with dogs we know and with lots of help and advice am working towards being a reliable leader so my boy knows he does not need to fight other intact males to keep his space. Im working towards letting him socialise more with dogs as well that we are familiar with and I have a weekly meetup at a local park so he gets to run around and have fun and I learn to relax around other dogs. Its my panic and anxiety when dogs have approached us that has caused fights, Marcie taught me that i need to be in charge and sort these bad meetings out before a fight occurs. Its a process but speaking up for my dog and myself and not allowing every random dog to approach him is something im excited to work on and go forward with.
It gave me a lot more confidence to do what needs to be done!

"Marcie came recommended to us by one person we knew, as well as two strangers we met whilst out walking our reactive Labrador/Newfoundland cross Lola.
After just one session, we couldn't believe the positive change in how we were able to walk Lola on-lead under our control without any pulling. Also, since applying the tools and techniques taught by Marcie, Lola is also much less reactive when out in the car as well as when out walking. One person we've met on one of our regular country walks asked what had happened, as Lola is now so much less reactive and generally more pleasant to be around (just 3 days after our first training session).
We really can thank Marcie enough, and really appreciate her knowledge, expertise and friendly say it as it is manner. She's trained us as well as Lola, and we've already recommended Marcie to some friends who also have a reactive dog.

So this is the dude I brought to see Marcie. Yes I do have my own paddock and sheep but only because I’ve always wanted a working collie, not realising just how difficult it actually is
Mac doesn’t work his default is to split the flock, grip and pull a sheep down. Not the best trait.
I want to do other things with him but his reactivity to other dogs hinders things, so went to see Marcie for some guidance.
