F.A.Q.'s
What is unique about Malvern Fabdogs and Impackt?
All Impackt accredited behaviourists and trainers are also able to use their own Aggression Therapy Dogs (ATD’s) to help a client’s dog if needed. Often dogs are transformed in just one session because they are able to meet and sometimes play with another dog.
My dog has bitten somebody (or another dog) will you still see me?
Yes of course! It’s what we do. We just need you to be totally honest with us ! We have a safety protocol we adhere to, so your dog will need a muzzle to attend a session. Our facilities are fenced and our protocols are safe. The full aggression assessment will include human to dog AND dog to dog aggression assessments.
What will a full aggression assessment tell me?
We will be able to give you a full insight into your dog. You will know why your dog is aggressive and the best course of action going forward.
It is also possible you will be told your dog is reactive and not aggressive and why this is the case.
Whatever the news you will leave with the correct diagnosis and the best course of action going forward. Sometimes just KNOWING and being on the right track is life changing!
Do Malvern Fabdogs offer General training and behaviour sessions ?
Yes of course ! It’s not always Aggression assessments and I enjoy helping owners with other issues such as Recall, Excessive barking, Lead Pulling, Separation anxiety etc
Are Malvern Fabdogs Ethical ?
Yes totally, of course we are.
Please see the Malvern Fabdogs 10 Point Code of Conduct
Every dog and every case is different and we use methods and strategies to suit each individual dog. We will ALWAYS use the kindest and least aversive way possible to help both the dog and the owner. We have NEVER harmed a dog. Anything we do will be discussed with you beforehand and before we use the tool or method we suggest you will have the final say.
Are Malvern Fabdogs Science Based?
Yes ! We use all of the available science to help dogs including advanced techniques to help with socialisation. Many 'modern' trainers will not use these techniques, however, if used correctly they can be transformational. We feel that our highly scientific approach combined with Impackt's pioneering work using Aggression Therapy Dogs (ADT's) combined with strict assessment protocols are making others' approaches to training and behaviour seem increasingly outdated.
Do we used positive reinforcement and rewards ?
Yes, absolutely! We help owners understand TIMING of rewards to give their dogs CLARITY which is more important than the reward itself.
Do we sometimes need to use corrections?
Corrections are part of the science. Alongside positive reinforcement, negative reinforcement, negative punishment we have positive punishment (correction) . Positive punishment is becoming a hot potato as it is often seen as harming the dog but actually the opposite is almost always true. It can be as simple as telling your dog "NO" ! In scientific 'operant conditioning' this would be 'Positive Punishment' Every dog is different and every problem is different, some dogs simply don't need every method, tool or technique to help them. We make sure the correct realistic methods are used. We make sure YOU the owner are happy with everything we do
Are we expensive?
Yes and no. The sessions are reasonably expensive and you pay in advance for our expertise. We normally save you ( the client ), hundreds of pounds in the long run. Often clients come to us having already spent a lot of money on dozens of lessons and having tried different trainers. Wasting money stops with us. Quite often one session is all you need because you leave with the knowledge and strategies for what you need to do going forward.
Where do I find you and how do I book ?

Who are you accredited with?
All of the Impackt professionals are accredited through recognised training bodies but we value our accreditation directly from Pamela at IMPACKT far higher.
She has pioneered the training and use of aggression therapy dogs in the UK and her unique approach to canine behaviour has transformed and improved the lives of thousands of dogs and their owners.
As her tens of thousands of social media followers know she trains her team of ATD’s to a high level from Turbo and Edna (Pugs) to Daphne and Frog (Bullmastiffs) and new boy on the block, Wiggy (Ludwig the Standard Poodle) My own dog Joey the Doberman has also been trained using Pamela’s methodology.
Pamela is widely recognised as one of the leading authorities on Dog aggression and has advised many professional bodies including Police, Rescue and Rehoming centres . She also has a background in Zoology and holds many certificates (which gather dust in a drawer) whilst she helps owners and their dogs.
I was accredited by Pamela in January 2025 as her first Behaviour Aggression Specialist after a year of shadowing, hands on practice, theory and rigorous testing including being observed as the lead in real cases.
